The Art of Massaging Your Eyes

Are you suffering from dryness, itchiness and headaches? It is an indicator of issues like lack of sleep, dehydration, poor diet and emotional circumstances. Take time for yourself to increase your eye health by following simple eye massages.

Here are some massage techniques to improve eye health.

1.Closing your eyes and applying warm palms to your eye with little pressure will spread the tear film in your eyes evenly and relax them. This will reduce stimuli to your eyes and brain.

2.Close your eyes, use your middle finger to massage the eye-socket bones and bring your fingers down to the nose. Repeat the same motion for about 8-10 times.

3.Look into the darkness: Close your eyes and hold your palm to the eye. Relax and look into the darkness. Hold in this position for a couple of minutes.

4.Side to Side Eye Movement: Do this without moving your head, look to the left and then right. Focus on what you see. Move your eyes from side to side five minutes. Repeat the cycle three times.

5.Use your thumbs and press gently on the area right above the inner corner of the eyes. Press slowly and release. Repeat this for 5 times.

6.Roll your eyes from left side slowly in a clockwise direction. Do this five times and then do it in an anti-clockwise direction for five times. Complete this cycle 3 times.

7.Use middle finger and massage hollow area which is located at the end of your eyebrow and hair (temples area) on the side of your face using an up-and-down motion. Continue to massage the area for 1 minute.

8.Squeeze your eyes tightly shut for two to three seconds. Relax the muscles around your eyes. Repeat it for ten times.

These are some massage techniques to improves concentration, which also relax your eye muscles and enhance the eye vision etc.
