We often fail to think of our muscles unless there is cramp or a sharp thorny pain in our body. Deep seated pains as a result of ligament tears, muscle or tendon damage are resolved by deep tissue massages. This promotes a flexibility and a wider range of motion in an individual. Lowers heart rate and blood pressure:

A research study involving 263 participants (whose heart rate and blood pressure was measured prior to the session) with muscle strain and spasm underwent deep tissue massage therapy. The reports showed that the heart rates reduced to almost 10 less beats per minute with a reduction is systolic and diastolic pressure as well.
