You always take care of your face by exfoliating twice a week, but what about your body? Are you taking care of it?
There are many ways to take care of your body and one of those ways is to exfoliate the unwanted dead cells to achieve the ultimate flawless and healthy skin. To exfoliate, we need scrubbing. We exfoliate dead skin cells with a body scrub.
What is Body Scrub? It is a body care treatment to remove dead cells and hydrating the skin, which leaves your body smooth and soft. Usually, we use sea salt or sugar mixed with massage oils and aromatic essential oils.
How to use a Scrub? If your skin is healthy and firm, you can do it twice a week. If your skin is sensitive or extra delicate/tender, you can do this once a week. Use scrubbing tool to scrub your entire body in circular motions and rinse it with water. Use your hands to remove the scrub granules. If you don’t have time, massage the scrub all over the body and rinse during the bath.
When NOT to use a Body Scrub? You shouldn’t scrub when you have sunburns, rashes or any other skin conditions (like surgery, bug bits) because it irritates your skin more.
Now, let’s figure out the need of De-Tanning procedures because they do seem to work for those people who have rough and thick skin.
What is De-Tanning? The dirt, pollution and heat cause the outer layer of skin to get tan or sometimes dark. Which is why this process is used to remove tan from the skin and give your skin, a natural texture.
How to use De-Tan? Try non-oily body scrub before you apply de-tan pack. It helps remove tan, which is caused by the harsh sun. De-Tan pack is mostly applied on knees and elbow area to remove hard tan. After applying De-Tanning pack, leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it with cold water.
Benefits of both Body Scrub and De-Tan:
Appearance of dark spots or age spots reduced.
Closes large pores.
Removes tan from elbow and knees.
It allows moisturizer to work better.
It gives a glow to the skin.
Evens out the skin tone.
So, start your Body Care treatment with scrub and de-tan process.
