Choose Your Battle Threading or Waxing

Facial hair has always been a burden to women. That’s the reason, women constantly check for the methods to remove hair from their faces.

Do you know that plucking is not a right option to begin with? It’s too painful and may even lead to bleeding if you pluck too harsh. Instead, you have two options; 1. Threading and 2. Waxing. There are respective pros and cons for both options, and what you choose is completely up to you. These are great ways to get rid of unwanted hair to get the perfect look and shape.

Threading versus waxing is considered a popular debate, like Coke versus Pepsi. But, each has their own pros and cons and choose your battle.

Let me tell you pros and cons of each method.

Threading: It is an ancient technique of hair removal. Here, cotton thread is used to remove unwanted facial hair.

Pros of Threading:

Threading uses no chemicals for removing the unwanted hair.

•It is a quick option for removing unwanted hair.

Cons of Threading

•Threading is impossible for short hair. It should be minimum 1/16 inch to enable you to thread it out.

•Incorrect threading can break hair follicles which leads to prevention of hair growth at odd areas of skin.

Waxing: It is also a way to remove unwanted facial hair. Here, we use wax to remove hair by placing the paper-like strip over the wax. It should be applied carefully, so that only the unwanted facial can be removed.

Pros of Waxing:

•It Results in a smooth appearance, which lasts for many weeks depending on your hair growth.

•Repeated waxing at regular intervals can reduce the hair re-growth.

Cons of Waxing:

•It is a very painful process. Sensitive skin can get complications like redness and wax causes irritations, rashes etc.

•People with skin conditions like Eczema, Dermatitis, should stay away from waxing.

•It is expensive in salons when compared to threading.

Check both pros and cons of threading and waxing. Depending on your pain tolerance and the money you want to spend, you can choose your devil.
